Resource Planner
Demo. All people, companies and projects are fictional, and changes are turned off. Try it: paste a project brief to see who could staff it.

Import

CSV or Excel. Column names are matched loosely ("E-mail Address", "email" and "Work Email" all work). Every cleaning change and merge is logged on the import's report.

Uploads are turned off in this demo. Below are the imports that built the sample data: open one to see every cleaning change, merge and flagged row.

1. People

HR roster, ATS/CRM export, spreadsheet. Recognizes name (or first + last), email, phone, LinkedIn, title, location, status, last contact, notes, a skills list (Python (5 yrs); AWS), and availability. Re-importing is safe: matches on email, LinkedIn, or phone + name merge into the existing person.

An "Employment Type"/"Pool" column overrides this per row.

2. Skills per person

Either one row per person + skill (columns: email or name, skill, years, level, last used, evidence), or a matrix with one column per skill.

3. Availability

Assignments (person, project, start, end, allocation % / FTE / hours per week, type — PTO and holds are recognized) or stated availability (person, available from, capacity %, as of).

4. Skill inventory

Your taxonomy: skill, category, aliases (pipe or semicolon separated). Extends the built-in catalog of ~140 technologies.
